Riding instructors and riding school staff
Meet Wellgrove Farm’s riding instructors and staff!
Emma has headed the riding school in Kent for over 12 years now. With a passion for dressage and tricky horses, Emma has had a number of successes recently, winning the South Eastern Regional Championships at Medium level in 2010 and going on to finish 11th in the National Championships at the same level on her talented dressage horse George.
Emma holds her Intermediate Instructor examination and, having put qualification on hold for a while to concentrate on competing, is undertaking her UKCC3 portfolio.
Lucy has been with us for a number of years, working up through our highly successful helper scheme to take professional qualifications. Lucy started her training here at Wellgrove before taking a Diploma in Horse Studies at Plumpton College in West Sussex. She currently holds her PTT and NVQ3 qualifications, has completed her UKCC level 2 portfolio, and is studying for her BHS stage 3. She teaches in the riding school.
Megan is now studying for her UKCC Level 1.
Lyndsey is training for a work-based diploma with us and is on our modern apprenticeship scheme. She has her UKCC 1 coaching qualification.
Sophie is currently working part-time with us.
Alfie is on our apprentice scheme.
