The Pony Club training structure encourages members to take tests which enables them to learn progressively about horse and pony care and riding. The tests are taken at recommended ages and are designed with certain objectives in mind.
Pony Club tests are designed to improve your riding ability and knowledge of horse and pony care. You can start with the ‘E’ Test and progress through to the ‘AH’ Test. As a member you may also take their Road Rider Certificate.
There are also progressive tests in ‘Riding and road sense’ and ‘Horsemastership’ that can be taken on their own or together with the Standard tests, at bronze, silver, gold and platinum levels.
