Winnie

Winnie was born at Wellgrove. Her mother was called “Tamarisk” and her father “Orinoco”, and she is one month older than her half-sister Babysham. Winnie is a gentle soul who is a particular favourite with the children who like riding something bigger. She is often questioned as to when the baby is due, but she just has a huge tummy!

Sadly, over the summer, Princess Winnie (aka Winnie) was put to sleep. She had suffered with arthritis in her hocks for a long time, and the decision was made that she was no longer comfortable living in the field. She will be sorely missed for her “Winnie one drops” when she got excited, and her terrifying hippo-like neigh that scared many a novice.
